Crystal Franz
CEO

Crystal Franz
Chief Executive Officer
Equipped with over 15 years of franchising experience, Crystal Franz has held leadership roles across corporate strategy, brand strategy, marketing and communications. She leads the executive leadership team at HomeWell Franchising in the organization’s mission to accelerate HomeWell’s growth and continue to establish its brand. Crystal brings a proven ability to translate consumer insights into strategic brand positioning, helping organizations evolve while remaining aligned with the needs of their target demographic.
Before joining HomeWell, Crystal gained significant experience in franchising and hospitality, having worked for WoodSpring Hotels, a national brand leader in extended stay, and leading brand and marketing efforts for Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites under major franchisor Choice Hotels International. She also brings marketing and advertising agency experience, adding depth to her expertise in multi-channel brand development.
Crystal holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Elizabethtown College. She currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, with her husband and four children.


Casey McCleskey

Casey McCleskey
Chief Financial Officer
Casey brings over 12 years of accounting and finance knowledge to the HomeWell team. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a professional engineering firm specializing in systems integration and controls. Prior to that, Casey worked as a CPA in public accounting, where he developed deep expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. He began his career supporting government contracts on military installations through joint ventures with visually impaired entrepreneurs. With a strong background in both private and public sector finance, Casey brings broad financial expertise and an insightful approach to strategy and growth in his role at HomeWell.
Casey holds a degree in business administration from Midwestern State University and earned his CPA from the State of Texas. He resides in North Texas with his family. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time coaching and competing.


Mike Condon

Mike Condon
Chief Development Officer
Mike Condon is a passionate franchise professional who brings a strong background in healthcare and business development to his role at HomeWell Care Services. He spent over a decade in the medical equipment industry, where he developed his business acumen and a deep appreciation for the role quality care plays in improving lives.
Mike later transitioned into franchising, owning and operating a multi-unit health and wellness franchise. That experience fueled his passion for helping others embrace entrepreneurship. At HomeWell, Mike enjoys guiding prospective owners who are not only driven to build successful businesses, but who also want to serve others and make a meaningful difference in their communities. He finds purpose in connecting values-driven individuals with an opportunity that offers both personal fulfillment and professional freedom.
Mike lives in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with his wife and four children. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, being outdoors, and reading a good book.


Michelle Cone

Michelle Cone
Senior Vice President of Industry Engagement
Michelle Cone is a seasoned industry leader with over 25 years of experience in the post-acute care space, specializing in operations, strategy, compliance, and business development. Since joining HomeWell Care Services in 2016, she has held several leadership roles and now serves as Senior Vice President of Industry Engagement. In this capacity, Michelle leads efforts to elevate HomeWell’s presence in non-medical home care, foster strategic partnerships, and advance the company’s influence across the care continuum.
A licensed Home Health Administrator, Michelle has worked with top healthcare facilities and home care agencies across the country, including leadership roles in both skilled and behavioral nursing care. She has also been instrumental in developing HomeWell’s Signature Programs™, helping franchise owners address the evolving needs of today’s clients through specialized training and support.
Michelle attended West Texas A&M University, where she studied business and marketing. She currently resides in North Texas with her husband, son, stepdaughter, and three rescue pets.


Mishelle Payne

Mishelle Payne
Senior Vice President of Marketing
Mishelle Payne is an accomplished marketing leader with extensive experience in brand development and visual storytelling. Since joining HomeWell Franchising in 2018, she has spearheaded numerous transformative projects, including the design and launch of HomeWell’s award-winning consumer website, which earned the Silver Stevie® Award from the American Business Awards® for the site’s focus on human connection and its role in the care continuum. Mishelle’s work has been instrumental in positioning HomeWell as a trusted leader in home care and positioning its agencies as thought leaders in the communities they serve.
Under her leadership, HomeWell was also honored with a 2021 Aspect Award for its comprehensive rebranding efforts. Mishelle led the initiative to redefine the company’s visual identity, and positioning, ensuring that HomeWell’s commitment to delivering compassionate care was evident in every touchpoint.
Prior to HomeWell, Mishelle served as Vice President of Creative for WoodSpring Suites at Choice Hotels International, where she co-founded the brand’s identity and established its creative direction for the franchise brand and marketing channels. Her experience also includes previous roles at Rosetta Stone and Carfax, where she built a strong foundation in brand and marketing strategy.


Brad Himmeger
VP of Franchise Services

Brad Himmeger
Vice President of Franchise Services
Brad Himmeger brings more than two decades of multi-unit operational leadership to his role as Vice President of Franchise Services at HomeWell Care Services. Since joining the company in 2021, Brad has played a key role in supporting franchise owners through business coaching, operational development and new agency onboarding.
Prior to HomeWell, Brad held leadership roles at national retail and franchise brands including America’s Chiropractor, First Cash, RadioShack and Blockbuster, where he was responsible for P&L oversight, training and development, and driving performance across large portfolios of locations.
At HomeWell, Brad leads the Franchise Services department, overseeing a dedicated team of Franchise Business Coaches and support staff committed to helping owners strengthen their operations, increase profitability and deliver high-quality care. He is known for his hands-on leadership style, operational insight and deep commitment to franchisee success.


Erika Ehlers
VP of Learning & Onboarding

Erika Ehlers
Vice President of Learning and Onboarding
Erika Ehlers has over 25 years of experience in learning and development, as well as more than 20 years in franchising, possessing a proven track record of implementing learning programs and systems that drive performance, engagement, and return on investment. At HomeWell, Erika leads efforts to guide new franchise owners through training and coaching support to help them build a strong foundation and open their businesses with confidence. She also oversees the creation and delivery of learning programs, tools, and resources that support long-term success for franchisees and their teams.
Before joining HomeWell in 2022, Erika held leadership roles at Choice Hotels and GlaxoSmithKline, and most recently at T. Rowe Price where she was Vice President & Learning Lead. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Towson University and a Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore. She currently lives in Maryland with her husband and enjoys tending to her ever-growing plant collection and reading as many books as possible in her free time.
