What are HomeWell’s hours of operations?

HomeWell’s office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except for major holidays). However, a staff member is available by phone 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist you with urgent care or staffing needs.

How do you select your Caregivers?

As an industry leader, HomeWell deeply understands your concern for safety and security. We never hire anyone we would not welcome into our own homes. All HomeWell employees, including Caregivers and administrative staff members, undergo comprehensive pre-employment screening that goes beyond the standard interviews and references. We conduct nationwide background, criminal, immigration, and identity checks, along with competency testing. Because we care about the level of care we provide, HomeWell conducts client service and safety training for all employees.

Can I cancel my services at any time?

At HomeWell Senior Care, we aim to keep our services as flexible as possible. You are not obligated to use our services for a specified period of days; you may cancel services or a scheduled shift at any time. If you have more questions about this, feel free to reach out to us at any time.

Do you accept Medicare?

No. Medicare covers skilled care services provided by licensed home health agencies, not assistance with personal care, companionship, or homemaker services provided by HomeWell and other home care agencies. However, we are more than happy to help you find the care you need from a licensed home health agency if you need medical support. In fact, we often coordinate services with home health agencies for the needs of our clients.

How much does home care cost?

Home care is the best value and most comprehensive form of care available. If you aren’t sure if you can afford the services you want, HomeWell Care Managers can arrange an economical solution by using an innovative assessment tool, designed to calculate the fewest number of hours needed for your care plan. Each HomeWell office is independently owned and operated, so specific rates may vary.

How is HomeWell Care Services different from other home care agencies?

We deliver on this promise by offering holistic home care to every client through our overall Care Management approach. No matter the level or type of service, every client receives a Care Manager, at no additional charge, who oversees the overall care of our clients and ensures our Caregivers are in place and delivering service beyond our clients’ expectations. Additionally, we understand that each client has unique and individual needs that sometimes fall outside of the scope of services we provide, but our Care Management approach allows us to identify these needs and connect the dots to ancillary services, such as skilled home health, hospice, durable medical equipment, handyman services, lawn care, etc.

HomeWell Care Services is a Homemaker-Companion Agency and solely provides non-medical care.
