The difference is our Care Management approach.

HomeWell Care Services is not your average home care agency. For us, it’s not simply about placing a caregiver in the home. We take a holistic approach to at-home care that focuses on both accomplishing the tasks of daily living and improving the overall well-being of each individual entrusted to our care.

Colleen was a salon owner for over 35 years and created teams of stylist to do outreach in the community with battered women’s shelters, women’s rehabilitation centers and homes for unwed moms.  Her entire life has been about helping others and improving their quality of life and this position fits her passion. Caitlin Simington – Schedule Manager and Executive Admin

Caitlin is the Care Manager for HomeWell for the Denver North and Denver South offices. Caitlin started as a caregiver in 2012, pursued her CNA in 2014 and later received her associate degree as a Medical Assistant in 2017.  Her favorite “specialty” in this field is working with memory care & hospice clients, she has cared for both elders and pediatrics. The one piece of advice she offers to her teammates is to never be afraid to ask for help; most likely, if you have questions, others do as well. Her hobbies are competitive volleyball, as well as watching her daughter learn and grow in all the sports she desires to try out.

Sandra Melena – Care Manager

Sandra started in the Healthcare Industry in 2002 as a CNA. It was at that point that she had realized how much she enjoy taking care of others. Sandra has worked in many health care settings as a CNA and has enjoyed every bit of it. She believes being a caregiver is in one’s heart, it is not just a job. Over a year ago, Sandra made the change to work on the administrative side of caregiving. After so many years of working in the field, her body decided she could no longer work as a CNA. Sandra did not want to leave healthcare, so at that point she became a Care Coordinator, and loves it! She was now in a position in which she can still make a great impact in someone’s life, and make sure that they are receiving the best care from the caregivers!

Jessica Thomas – HR Specialist/ HR Admin Assistant

Jessica Thomas is a Colorado native – born and raised in Fort Collins, CO.  She trained as a CNA at AIMS Community College in Greeley, CO in 2013 after her husband was injured in a workplace accident. What started out as a fast way to make money to survive turned into a passion. Jessica has worked in nursing homes, assisted living, and served as a memory care director. Jessica is the HR Specialist and HR Admin Assistant for HomeWell in Loveland, CO. Jessica believes that the best part of caregiving are the lessons and skills you can learn from those who have lived long lives and Jessica has learned how to knit, crochet, and bobbin knit from past clients and is still trying to knit wooly socks. Having a background in caregiving gives Jessica a unique perspective in HR and recruiting – allowing HomeWell to recruit, train and retain the best of the best. In her spare time Jessica can be found hanging out with her husband Grant and their two daughters, Kaylee and Josie. Her hobbies include baking, scrapbooking, and playing Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft, and Magic the Gathering among other nerdy endeavors.

My hobbies include fishing, paddle boarding, hiking, cooking, and crafting. When I am not doing those things, I like to spend my time with my daughter, friends, and family members.

Our Philosophy

Trusted care. True compassion.

Our top priority is your peace-of-mind.

We all function better when we enjoy life more. For most people, this can be achieved through increased activity, reduced stress, better nutrition and basic companionship. As simple as that observation is, it is at the core of what we do. Our primary objective is to bring more enjoyment to the lives of those who find it increasingly difficult to function well on their own. We remove the burden of stress from both the person needing assistance, as well as those who love and care for them. We help people maintain their dignity and their independence. We protect and care for those who are unable to do so themselves. We help people function better. We help people enjoy life more. We do all of this by working as a team to provide reliable and compassionate in-home care that goes so far beyond typical adult care services.
