I called them on a Sunday afternoon, frantic with all kinds of questions to try to figure out what my options and possibilities were. I was getting nowhere with the people in the hospital. Bruce was beyond patient, beyond helpful, answered all my questions and helped my lay out several contingency plans - depending on what we were told the following day in the hospital, once their social workers were on duty.Hospitals barely function on the weekend, understaffed, and the staff that is, there is overworked. But the people at Homewell seem to work 24 seven and the answer the phones whenever you call.He put me in touch with other staff members who help me work out a list of what things to order for home hospice he was so kind and so patient. I must’ve had six calls with him and with other staff members. I ask a lot of questions. They really put me at ease in the middle of a situation that was totally out of control.Never did I have to leave a message or wait for a call back. It was just nonstop communication it was a level of customer service that just doesn’t exist these days.
I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had with Homewell. The owner, Bruce, is very engaged, and personally came out for our initial assessment. His uncanny listening skills and genuine compassion allowed him to quickly build rapport with my sister (60 yo with dementia) and her daughter (30 yo with Down Syndrome). He and the home aides were life savers. Even though we could not afford full-time care, they’ve bent over backwards to make sure we were well taken care of. The home aides were quite skilled and kind.I will forever be grateful for what he and his team did for my family during our time of need.
The HomeWell team working with a colleague of mine with Dementia that had no family to help her, has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the initial meeting with Bruce to get the assessment process started in late Fall 2021 to initiating full time 24 hour home care by Jan 2022 to now, we have seen the utmost in professionalism, compassionate care, expert guidance and kindness. The care team is selected to match the needs of a client. Coordinating the caregivers with clients based on compatibility is a key to success that HomeWell monitors very well making adjustments as needed. HomeWell is the team to help you and your loved one, be it family member, friend or colleague through challenging times of medical need. I highly recommend HomeWell.
Homewell franchisee Bruce Dincin was hands-on and ensured that my father received the best possible care and assistance, even recommending a caregiver that would best meet his needs. The intake process was thorough and I felt extremely confident that he would be well taken care of by the caregiver, with the support of an attentive franchisee in Bruce. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Homewell to anyone in the Montgomery County area looking for the full range of home care, which for us entailed some driving, light housekeeping, and cooking.
My family and I are so grateful for the exceptional care my dad received from our HomeWell caregivers. Danielle, who led the team, was incredibly attuned to our family’s needs and concerns. We had great confidence in her. Not only was she professional, but she demonstrated extraordinary compassion with my dad and our whole family. The caregivers themselves will always hold a special place in our hearts for how they cared for my dad with strength, intelligence, and kindness. May God bless them all greatly in their good work.
We brought my 94 year old mom to live with us last May. My husband and I were her primary caregivers. We worked very hard and turned her around. She wasn’t a very sick lady but just wasn’t taking care of herself-by herself. After several months of doctor visits and working with my mom we realized that as much as we thought we could handle everything, we really could not. I began looking for an agency to talk to about getting some help.My husband was very reluctant to have people in the house. Danielle Chapman called from HomeWell and I immediately bonded with her on the phone. She was calm, patient, professional yet personable. She was able to discern that I was so torn about many issues. She and I talked many times and established a great relationship over the phone and I felt her genuine concern for us and our situation. When the time came that both my husband and my self were so tired and both had things to do outside the house, we knew we would have to have help. I immediately turned to HomeWell! Danielle was wonderful and worked with me to work out the best way to help us.We contracted with them to send someone to the house to watch mom for a day.The process of setting everything up was professional, and very well done. Danielle and a nurse came out and talk to me, my husband and my mom and it was a wonderful experience for all of us We knew after the visit when we met nurse Cathy and Danielle, that this company was the one for us.We got everything set up and a very capable and nice lady came to care for mom.We were in the process of setting up some overnight care for mom when she took a bad turn and we had to call 911. She was taken to the hospital on January 24. Mom died later that day. We never got to begin the overnight card service.I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for premium, quality, professional, and expert care and help with giving home care to your special loved ones. I give five stars plus to the HomeWell agency!Their care and genuine concern for the people/families they work with, is outstanding! I wound highly recommend them.Thank you for your service to our family.❤️
I had an excellent experience with the care HomeWell Services provided to my brother, Marty, beginning with the interview process and up until and after, my brother's death. The referral to HomeWell was provided by the organization, "A Place for Mom."I contacted the owner of HomeWell, Bruce Dincin, who spoke to me at length, giving me much information and answering all my questions. He was subsequently readily available and answered all my phone calls and text messages expeditiously. Bruce kept in close communication with me during the several months my brother was under HomeWell's care. They offered a great deal of flexibility. We started out with only a few hours of care, three times a week. As my brother's needs increased, he was scheduled with more hours of home care. In the end, he was receiving care 24/7.The Registered nurse and the home care aides were knowledgeable and professional. All caretakers showed a deep interest in my brother & were quickly attuned to his specific needs and appreciated his sense of humor.Bruce was flexible and very patient about billing from the long term care insurance company. HomeWell's concern about my brother continued while he was in the hospital and after his death, as well. Bruce even came to my house on the day of my brother's funeral. He offered his sympathies as well as his support for anything i might need.I can't say enough about how impressed I was with the concern and care my brother received from Bruce and his HomeWell Care team. They performed way beyond my expectations. I highly recommend their services and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering them for in home care. Most sincerely,Marcy MyersPotomac, MD
HomeWell professionals have cared for my father for over six months now. Beginning first at an elder rehab facility as personal aids, to now providing 24/7 in-home care. I cannot stress enough how much peace it has brought to my family (especially my mom & me) to know that our HomeWell “family” is there for my dad. There are many positives about this service, but if I had to choose just one it would be responsiveness. From finding the correct “fit” in caregivers to dealing with ever evolving “that’s life” issues HomeWell, lead by Bruce Dinson, is our A-Team.
Last Christmas Eve my father was hospitalized and diagnosed with COVID. A 95 year old Alzheimer's patient at a memory care unit, the hospital wanted him returned to his facility but we were unable to find a care service to come in and be with Dad. Bruce Dincin of Homewell Services stepped in. The staff were willing to fulfill the memory care unit's request and Dad received 24 hour care from Homewell. Bruce and his team gave not only dad but my mom and my family amazing care. The last few weeks of Dad's life were blessed by the Homewell care givers and especially Bruce, who called often to see if there was anything they could do. I cannot thank Homewell enough for being guardian angels in my Dad's final weeks. Homewell went above and beyond in care giving.
With both my brother and I not living in the area, we needed care for our sister, who has MS and just had back surgery. A friend recommended HomeWell Care Services. Bruce couldn’t have been more helpful, setting up a first visit by the wonderful Addie to get my sister showered and help with tasks around her condo that she couldn’t perform in her condition. That visit went so well, and my sister was so pleased, that we scheduled subsequent visits from Addie, including help and transportation to her doctor’s for a PostOp appointment. We couldn’t be more happy with the caring professionals at HomeWell Care Services. Highest recommendation.
I needed in home care on short notice due to an accident. I contacted HomeWell and receive a gracious welcome and a quick assessment to determine what services could be provided. I received HomeWell services for about 3 months. Bruce was my point of contact, and he and the staff provided excellent customer service, meeting all of my requests quickly and professionally. I also used their transportation service to get to/from physical therapy and the drivers were courteous, drove safely, and were always on time. I had one complaint and it was addressed professionally and promptly. I would definitely use HomeWell again and recommend them highly to anyone in need of in-home health care services.
I cannot capture in words how wonderful HomeWell was with my 90 year old mother who had Alzheimers. They interview us very thoroughly, reviewed complete medical history of Mom and paired her with the perfect caretaker. My mom was very sweet but not strong vocally. We had the caretaker come for a day when my sister and I could be with her and Mom to make sure she understood the routine. The caretaker was paired to match Mom's devout Catholic faith. Which thrilled all of us. When the caretaker went to leave (and yes this is on the day Mom met her) Mom said "Goodbye. I love you". It brought tears to our eyes.
A few months ago, I started to evaluate home health care options and called Bruce Dincin at HomeWell Care Services in Montgomery County Maryland. It was a stressful time and I wasn't really sure what options were available to me. Bruce was extraordinarily kind, patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to really help me understand HomeWell's services. It was clear to me that he truly cares about his clients. My family ended up not needing immediate home health care, but based on my experience with Bruce, I would have used HomeWell if we had.
