Driven, thoughtful, and community-minded, PJ Ortiz is a dedicated husband, father of three boys, and an entrepreneur who deeply values serving others through purposeful work. With a degree in aerospace engineering, he spent over two decades in the aerospace industry, including more than 16 years at Boeing. His work has spanned engineering and supplier management roles globally for commercial, defense, and space programs.

Despite his successful career, family has always been PJ’s central focus. That dedication inspired him to pursue a path where he could make a lasting difference for families in his own community; however, his move into home care was ultimately driven by personal family experiences. Watching his mother devote three years to caring for her aging parents after her retirement showed him both the rewards and challenges of family caregiving. He also wanted to show his children the value of taking a chance on something meaningful and different.

Today, PJ’s vision is to build a HomeWell agency known for compassionate care, exceptional service, and being a trusted resource for families, while creating a workplace where caregivers feel valued and proud of the difference they make every day.
