We have used the service of Homewell Care since November of 2024 when our Mom fell and fractured her back. My brother and I were taking care of my Mom, but we needed help. After calling them they sent a nurse to the house the same day to access her physical and mental health. Within a day they had a caregiver available to move in to stay with her 24 hours a day! From my experience calling around to other companies normally there is a long waiting time, but we were blessed to get our Mom care immediately.

Their service is good. For the first couple of months they had a caregiver stay 24 hours living at the house caring for the needs of our Mom, cooking her meals, and being their to support her in her recovery. Since that time have changed from 24 hour care to someone coming every day for about 10 hours and then driving home.

This change has been a challenge though as there were times that issues came up with caregivers not being able to keep to their schedule because of personal issues. The staff at Homewell though has been attentive to this, and worked hard to work to keep my Mom covered and cared for. Now we have 2 regular caregivers who split up the week so my Mom has consistency.

Overall we have been blessed to find their service, and our Mom is happy. There is a great peace of mind knowing that there is someone coming everyday who will keep her safe and give her caring company. Our Dad passed away a few years ago, and Mom has been living alone. This transition to Home Health care has been something very positive in our Mom's life.

We have had such a good experience with the care worker we hired to help Mom. She speaks loud enough that Mom can hear her. She makes interesting meals and snacks daily, to encourage Mom to eat. They take walks outside, play dominoes, and she can take Mom to and from the store. This has been so wonderful.
