Christie Castro, Owner

While in college, Christie Castro’s grandfather fell ill, and her grandmother couldn’t care for him by herself. That's when the family decided it would be best for Christie to step in and help, which became her first experience in home care. During this time, she saw how essential companionship and compassionate care was for seniors—a realization that prompted her to go into senior care as a career, serving over 20 years in private duty home health before later opening her own HomeWell Care Services in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida.

Today, Christie encourages her team of educated, well-trained caregivers to be a ray of sunshine when walking into a client’s home, knowing that quality and engaging companionship can make a huge impact on each client's mental health and outlook. Her care staff take the time to get to know each individual’s unique circumstances and then create a personalized care plan to provide them with the support they need and peace of mind.
