After retiring from the U.S. Army in 2016, Tracie Dominguez decided to break away from her career as a physician assistant and, instead, open a business that would assist a vulnerable demographic in her community. In 2017, she cared for her aging parents, who lived with a myriad of complex illnesses such as Alzheimer’s, COPD, and diabetes. During this time, Tracie developed a greater sense of empathy for seniors and their caregivers, which made her consider entering the home care industry. A few years later, she found HomeWell. Intrigued by the company’s mission, values, and dedication to helping seniors, Tracie decided to take a leap and open a new HomeWell franchise location in Colorado Springs.

Today, all of Tracie's clients receive a comprehensive, in-home assessment and a personalized care plan. She has also implemented extensive initial training programs for new caregivers to help ensure that they’re equipped with the skills, experience, and confidence they need to care for others effectively.
